Technium Springboard is a joint venture between Torfaen County Borough Council and the Welsh Assembly Government with support from European Objective One funding. The Innovation Centre was opened in 2006 and formally became part of the Technium network in December 2008.
Technium Springboard is based on a pure incubation model providing time limited space to high growth companies in the knowledge base sectors.

Torfaen County Borough Council
The Economic Development section of Torfaen County Borough Council provides a wide range of services to businesses located within the County.
Welsh Assembly Government
Technium Springboard works closely with the Welsh Assembly Government’s Department for the Economy and Transport (DE&T). Access to specialist support and funding is provided via their Business Support service.
Technium Springboard has strong links with the University of Wales Newport who facilitate joint collaborations and research projects with Technium companies.
