Technium OpTIC comprises 7,700 sq m of floor space and is divided into three key centres:

An Incubation Centre of 24 units (with a basic serviced incubator of 52 sq m which can be extended to 100 sq m or 150 sq m). 

A Technology Centre comprising 1,900 sq m of laboratory and clean room space for the development of innovative new products and processes within the opto-electronics sector.

A Business Centre providing a range of excellent facilities for hire by organisations that wish to hold conferences, exhibitions, workshops, training and seminars.

The Technium OpTIC building also features a Photovoltaic Wall which is the largest Copper Indium Diselenide (CIS) photovoltaic wall in Europe & the first of its kind in the UK.  The Photovoltaic Wall demonstrates complete integration into a building to provide added value as well as energy and produces a completely clean and renewable source of solar energy with zero emissions of carbon dioxide or pollutants.  With the prospect of global warming each kw of clean energy produced avoids emitting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

An on-site restaurant enables companies and individuals to interact in an informal setting as well as offering a venue for events and business meetings.
