Quantum CAD out drives the competition

 ECM2 recently hosted its 3rd Annual Golf Day bringing together local and global companies to compete on the same playing field.

The event was held 10th of September at the Grove Golf Club in Porthcawl, South Wales. Over 30 organisations, representing industries from research and engineering to academia and manufacturing, provided a diverse network for business opportunities. Monies accrued from the day went to the British Heart Foundation.
The day’s top prizes went to Quantum CAD, electronic and PCB design firm. Quantum took home both first and second place, giving them a dominating presence on the leaders’ board.

“We were delighted to participate in an event that was not only enjoyable for the participants, but created a successful platform for networking.” said Martin Jones, Technical Director at Quantum CAD.

“I was very pleased with our teams’ performance on the day. Taking the top two spots was a great victory, but the more rewarding outcomes were the networking opportunities and the charitable contributions. As this is an annual event, we look forward to taking part next year” Carl O ’Roche, Project Manager at Quantum CAD, added.

ECM2 4th Annual Golf Day will take place 9th of September 2010. There are high hopes for a highly enjoyable, yet competitive day with even more chances to develop new business opportunities.
